The beginning set of tools assumes no to low knowledge or experience with the wacky world wide web. To follow are the basic building blocks:

  • Website Address & Hosting

  • Content Management System

    A content management system (CMS) is a type of web-based application that we use to build websites for you. CMS’s enable you to create, read, edit and delete your own content (text, images, documents, videos, etc.) after about 1 hour of training. If you know how to use Microsoft Word, you’ll be able to manage your own website.

  • Website Design

    We’ll need to get an idea of the look and feel you’d like for your website. The most helpful thing for us is to have you give us a few links to other sites that reflect what you want in look, functionality and ease-of-use. We’ll then ask you to choose from a couple simple design templates and go do a little magic, provide you 2 design options and work with you through 3 rounds of revisions to get you what you’re looking for.

  • Email Configuration & Hosting

    It’s much more professional looking when your email address is associated to your website. We can help configure your emails and show you how to manage it for your organization.

  • Email Broadcasting

    Email broadcasting is one of the most affordable and impacting methods of marketing. We will create and integrate an email template that’s consistent in look and feel with your website, integrate a form for collecting emails into your website, upload your email list and show you how to easily manage the tool yourself or we can manage it for you.

The intermediate set of tools assumes moderate knowledge and experience with the web. To follow are some of our intermediate tools:

    We’ll provide design, design integration, configure the server, help set-up PayPal or suggest a merchant account & payment gateway and train you to manage your own content & product info.

  • Social Media

    Facebook and Twitter can be quickly integrated into your site and even tied in to auto-populate those accounts directly from your blog. Manage 1 account to outreach via all your social media.

  • Events & Membership Management

    Scheduling events can be a snap with the right tools. We can help you and other assigned users help populate your calendar, create forms, collect participant data and enable free or fee-based events that connect to your PayPal account or one that we help you set-up.

  • Map & Directory

    Visual maps are always more compelling. We have a powerful tool that can be customized to gather the info you want, populate it onto a map, create a correlate entry in an easily navigable directory, as well as a custom profile page to feature add’l info like websites, photos and videos.

  • Miscellaneous Features

    There are innumerable additional features we can integrate to make your site much more functional, while keeping it easy-to-use and visually appealing. Things like extra custom designed pages, accordions or sliders for featured pieces, modal windows, form skinning, hover animations, etc. Whatever you’ve seen on the web, we can probably do, but may reign you in if you get out of hand.   • Logo Development/Corporate Identity Packages

    We’ve been developing logos for over 15 years. It’s one of the things we’ve always had fun doing and had a special knack for. If your logo needs to be slapped on business cards, stationary, letterhead, envelopes, etc., then we can help with that too.

  • 3D Modeling & Animation

    Occasionally 3D modeling is needed for support graphics on websites or educational or technical materials. We can render with the best of ‘em. We can also do some basic Flash animation if needed to spice up a website or presentation piece.

  • Video Production/Editing

    The video production and editing we do is more quick and dirty while still looking pro. Most of these are hosted on YouTube with the embed code plopped into your Content Management System. We primarily build these as supplementary header graphics or video tutorials.

  • eLearning Modules

    eLearning is gonna grow fast and furious and we intend to ride that wave. We’ve started diving into this fun arena more and more. Our plans are to create great eLearning and certification modules for the burgeoning sustainable and green industries (including SCORM packages).
